2014 GLAAD Media Awards Nominations

The GLAAD Media Awards, which “recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives,” announced its nominees on February 4. This year, foreign favorite Blue is the Warmest Color was nominated for Outstanding Film, alongside Dallas Buyers Club, Philomena and others. Drama series Orphan Black and Grey’s Anatomy are two of the competing Oustanding Dramas, and Outstanding Comedy nominations include Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Orange is the New Black, among others. Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on April 12.
