    Brooklyn is mediocre PBS at best. The third act? Walk out of the theater when those ground-markers, who grease the Tomato meter to increase hype, flag you as a non-believer in secular conversion ratio$.

      Well, whatever floats your boat, I guess. I didn’t think it was better than Spotlight, but I still liked it. I’m just gonna say that if Saoirse Ronan doesn’t at least get a mention somewhere (it doesn’t have to be the Academy), well, I’m gonna be disappointed, but I’m not gonna go apes**t about it either.

      Stallone should be nommed for Best Supporting Actor, though; same with Michael B. Jordan for Best Actor. Wouldn’t hurt to give Charlize Theron & Daisy Ridley credit, either, though I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t. But that’s for another comment.
