Fall TV Scorecard 2015

The 2015 fall TV season has brought us a plentiful harvest of new shows — a few movie adaptations, a couple of TV reboots, and a whole lot of Rob Lowe. We witnessed the birth of new hits, as others made their way to cancellation heaven.

So, if you’ve been telling yourself that you’re going to catch up with all the new shows, but don’t know where to begin, Rotten Tomatoes is counting down all the best and not-so-best shows of the fall. Where will your new favorites rank? Click through to find out!

    Ash Vs Evil Dead is sooooooooo bad.

      Yeah it’s supposed to be. True fans know when it’s bad and why.. Just one thing that’s sooooooooo great about it.

        True Douglas, It is suppose to be. Ash Vs. Evil Dead is suppose to be intentionally very campy, exactly like the original movies that spawned it. It is not meant to be taken seriously and it is suppose to have a lot of tongue in cheek humor.

    I agree with “Man in the High Castle” and “Supergirl” being in the top five. And think Quantico and Blindspot need to be higher up. On the down side, Jessica Jones is the number one disappointment (All hype and no intelligence)

    Supergirl is feminist pandering 101, man in the high castle has 2 awful leads but the story is a bit entertaining, Jessica Jones is sort of an OK Daredevil which owes David Tennant a LOT! in short, not many good tv shows to watch right now, but keep your chin up! the Expanse looks really really good!

    That Colbert and Noah even made this list undermines the credibility of every other ranking.

    Chalk that up to my opinion. And after your done with that, do six seconds into research for the ratings of both of those shows since Colbert and Noah took over and come back and tell me again that I’m the only one who doesn’t think either one of them is entertaining.

        You’re not the only one … as least when it comes to Colbert (haven’t seen Noah yet). Sorry, just don’t find Colbert the least bit funny or entertaining, and I’m into offbeat humor. It’s tough to explain, but it’s like I’m watching Colbert doing an exaggerated parody of Colbert or something. Craig Ferguson … now there was a funny late-night host.

    Switch Jessica Jones and Supergirl and i’m mostly happy with the top 10. No real interest in grinder but i can’t knock it since i havn’t watched 🙂

    I have a natural aversion to buy-a-new-car, lose-some-weight and fix-your-wrinkles commercials on repeat. And so opted for Netflix’ Jessica Jones. Within the first few minutes, there was nary a silly shaky-cam effect to be found. Could this series have well-trained actors, realistic CGI effects and catchy screenwriting all-in-one? Yes! Jessica Jones will go down in history as one of the greats.

      Yeah a lot of higher rated shows were skipped for some reason.. season 9 of Doctor Who has 100% but was left out as well

      Is intelligence completely gone on the internet?!?!?! All the shows on this list have one thing in common…. SEASON 1….. ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fargo is in its 2nd season, Doctor Who is in its god knows what season……….. If this were a list for TV shows in general I can understand these comments, but its a list for NEW TV Shows. NEWWWWWWWW….

    “Scream Queens fails to satisfy.” Well it certainly satisfies me, and I’m an avid horror fan. I don’t think whoever wrote that consensus took into account that the show is a parody of teen horror tropes, and it does it brilliantly.

    I would have rated a couple of them higher (Life in Pieces and Limitless), but otherwise this seems pretty accurate to me. Our favorite new shows are at the top (Ash vs. Evil Dead, Supergirl, and Grinder). I have really been meaning to check out Master of None.

    I am shocked Supergirl rated this high. Plot seems forced in some areas. Especially the anger episode.

    Plus Dean Cain is a fucking piece of shit. Her sis is ugly and annoying. And they unnecessarily changed jimmy from historically nerdy to sexy. And they are making her out to be too weak. Too many near death experiences even without kryptonite.

    That all being said, still a good show.

    Where’s Doctor Who? I can’t take this list seriously… It was a 100% positive rating on rotten tomatoes and this last season was spectacular!

    So happy that my 2 favorite new shows this year, Supergirl and Ash Vs Evil Dead are both in the top 3. I might have to give Master of None a shot just cause it was the only show that beat them on this list, lol.

    Saw maybe four of these shows — cannot recall. Supergirl is enjoyed and we watch every episode; overrated here though. Blindspot is great! Quantico is a stinking pile of crap; well, that’s strong; it is just sucky vacuuous non-entertainment.
