We pretty much expected Francis Lawrence‘s "I Am Legend" adaptation to be a "big" movie, but with a production schedule of over six months, it looks to be a really BIG movie.

From Production Weekly: "An over half-year production schedule has been set for the Will Smith sci-fi vehicle "I Am Legend," the adaptation of Richard Matheson‘s 1954 novel to be directed by "Constantine" helmer Francis Lawrence. Rose City Pictures Inc. will begin (principal) photography on September 23rd and continue filming until March 31 in New York City. The post-apocalyptic thriller will be in theaters November 21st, 2007."

Six months in New York? Does that include vacation time?
