A Columbia Pictures project about the rise of investment banker Chris Gardner and starring Will Smith has been given the title "Pursuit of Happyness," according to the Hollywood Reporter. Steve Conrad, the writer for the forthcoming "Weather Man," starring Nicolas Cage, wrote the screenplay. Smith stars in the forthcoming "Hitch."
