If and when there is a "Simpsons" movie, it will be at the service of a story that deserves feature length, producer James L. Brooks told IGN FilmForce. While mum on specifics, Brooks said the "Simpsons" team has been slowly edging toward making a film and doing some of the things that can’t be done within the confines of a half-hour TV show format. Brooks is directing the forthcoming "Spanglish," starring Adam Sandler.
