Steve Carell to "Get Smart"?

Andrew Weil of had a brief chat with funnyman Steve Carell while visiting the set of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," and here’s what the actor had to say about his next project, a remake of the old "Get Smart" comedy-spy series: "The basic premise is that both CONTROL and KAOS have fallen on hard times and are not being funded by the government. They’re not getting the same kind of funding as (the) CIA. They have one last mission to try to get back on top…it’s not retro at all."Mr. Carell, perhaps best known as the obtuse Brick Tamland in "Anchorman," can presently be seen in NBC’s "The Office."
