Sevigny Joins Gyllenhaal in Fincher's "Zodiac"

Variety reports that Chloe Sevigny has joined Jake Gyllenhaal in David Fincher‘s fact-based serial killer thriller "Zodiac."

"Sevigny will play the girlfriend of Robert Graysmith, a San Francisco Chronicle cartoonist who tried to crack the mystery of the infamous serial slayer. The Zodiac killer terrorized the San Francisco area from 1966-78, committing at least 37 murders and documenting his exploits in snide missives mailed to the newspaper. Jake Gyllenhaal plays Graysmith."

The WB / Paramount co-production has Fincher’s name on it, which means the bleak-geeks (like me) will be lined up on opening night.

Screenwriter James Vanderbilt ("The Rundown," "Basic," "Darkness Falls") is apparently the scribe on duty these days.
