IGN Filmforce was the first to break some movie news that has delighted some and nauseated others: could filmmaker Quentin Tarantino be setting his sights on directing a new "Friday the 13th" sequel? As crazy as that sounds, it just might happen! Variety reports that QT is scheduled for a meeting with the New Line execs (and that fans probably shouldn’t be holding their breath), but IGN Filmforce was the first outlet to report this juicy bit of news. Whether or not Tarantino will actually sign on to write and direct "The Ultimate Jason Voorhees Movie" remains to be seen, but it sure is a fascinating little possibility.
