Mystique in "X-Men 4"?

You know superheroes, even when they’re dead, they will find a way to come back. In the case of Mystique in the "X-Men" series, there may be a possibility of her return in the "X-Men 4" even if she’s been "cured" of her mutant-ness in "X-Men: The Last Stand."

IGN Movies caught up with "X-Men" star Rebecca Romijn on the set of her latest project, the ABC series "Ugly Betty," and asked her about the possibility of reprising her role as mutant villain Mystique in any further installments of the film series.

What she will do if she doesn’t return in "X-Men 4".

"I was signed on for three [movies], so my stint is more or less done at this point," she was quoted saying. When asked if she was open to appear in another installment, she replied, "Yeah, sure. We’ll see if they decide to do any more."

As for her no longer having her powers? "Well, you know, they can always turn these things back around! It’s not like I was dead or anything."
