New to streaming services this week, we have a couple of notable popcorn flicks, including a triumphant new Disney film and the latest in the rebooted Star Trek saga, a couple seasons of highly watchable television, some classic horror, and a couple of indies. Read on for the full list.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season 4 (2016) 96%

Moana (2016) 96%

Dwayne Johnson and newcomer Auli’i Cravalho lend their voices to Disney’s latest animated treat, a Polynesian tale about an island chief’s teen daughter, who sets out across the ocean to save her people with the help of the demigod Maui.

Mother (Madeo) (2010) 96%

Kim Hye-Ja and Won Bin star in South Korean director Bong Joon-Ho’s mystery about a developmentally challenged man, accused of murdering a young girl, and his doting mother who goes to extreme lengths to prove his innocence.

The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015) 84%

Billy Crudup and Ezra Miller star in this Certified Fresh drama based on the famous psychological study, in which Stanford University students were asked to play either prison guards or inmates, and the situation quickly devolved into chaos.

House On Haunted Hill (1959) 88%

Vincent Price stars in this classic horror film about a wealthy man who throws a haunted house party and offers a $10,000 reward to any of his guests if they can survive the night.

Häxan (Häxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages) (The Witches) (1929) 88%

This eerie film from the early days of cinema comes from Danish filmmaker Benjamin Christensen, who explores witchcraft in the Middle Ages with stark lighting effects and chilling imagery.

Star Trek Beyond (2016) 86%

The third chapter in the rebooted Star Trek saga finds the crew of the Enterprise marooned and separated on an unfamiliar planet, where they discover a new foe may have been waiting for them all along.
