Variety reports that screenwriting duo Peter Gaulke & Gerry Swallow have sold their screenplay "Happy Campers" to New Line.
A trio of Tapestry Films producers (the guys behind "Wedding Crashers") are on the case, and the story’s about "a mild-mannered accountant who, in order to convince his son that he’s tough and cool, agrees to lead a class camping trip."
Gaulke & Swallow previously combined to pen "Say It Isn’t So" and "Black Knight." No word yet on cast or a director, but the concept itself just reeks of freshness and originality.
