Jackass: Best and Last Audience Reviews: A Bittersweet but Laugh-Out-Loud Funny Goodbye
Audiences are drawn to its unsettling visuals and psychological horror, but remain split on its ambiguity and unanswered questions.

Back in 2000, Johnny Knoxville introduced a merry band of mischief-makers who would spend three seasons on MTV performing wild stunts, outrageous pranks, and gag-inducing challenges. The show was appropriately titled Jackass, and while it was relatively short-lived in its original form, it went on to spawn spin-offs, video games, and feature films, the latest of which hits theaters this weekend.
Jackass: Best and Last, the sixth movie in the franchise (not counting the straight-to-DVD half sequels that followed some of the entries), is intended to be the swan song for the gang, combining a host of new stunts with clips from previous entries, and critics who have seen it so far have been surprisingly kind to it. But what do fans think? It turns out, they like it almost as much as the critics do, with audience reviews calling it laugh-out-loud funny and a bittersweet tribute to a legendary crew of lovable idiots.

“I grew up on Jackass so i thought it was a great throwback. I haven’t laughed like that in a long time. Took my teenager with me and I couldn’t tell if he was laughing at the movie or me, but a win is a win..”

“I would watch it again… And again! I’m gonna miss these Jackasses! It was nice, and bittersweet, that they included footage from Ryan Dunn (may he R.I.P.).”
— Big K ![]()
“This was a crazy movie as expected. They do some crazy activities as a group, which were ridiculously funny. They also picked the top moments from the past and played the clips. The best way to judge this movie is how many people were laughing in the theater. Every single person was having a laugh, a very, very loud laugh. Overall, you will see exactly what you expect from a Jackass movie.”

“It was a good last movie. It was part ‘best of’ compilation, part never-before-seen footage, part new stuff, a trifecta. It was hilarious, it was gross, it was nerve-wracking. It was a great time.”

“It was a fine to ending to one of the most American movie/TV series to ever be put on screens.”
