"Indy 4" Screenwriter Says Movie Will Address Ford's Age

Screenwriter David Koepp recently spoke with IGN Movies about what — loosely speaking — fans can expect from the upcoming, long-awaited fourth installment in the "Indiana Jones" series.

Koepp was careful not to divulge any spoilers, but he did take pains to temper fans’ expectations, pointing out that "A lot of people are going to be angry no matter what I do."

Those who were disappointed after Frank Darabont’s screenplay was rejected — or who are simply wary of George Lucas’ script veto power — may be leery after reading Koepp’s comments, but he makes it clear that he’s steering clear of campy references to adventures past, and says Indy’s age won’t be glossed over.
