Has Casting Begun on "Wolverine"?

No, we don’t have any names just yet, but the fact that there’s presently a casting call for the "Wolverine" movie tells us that pre-production is officially underway on the "X-Men" spinoff.

We know that Hugh Jackman is returning, and also that the screenplay comes from "Troy" scribe David Benioff, but that’s about it so far. One source provides a vague casting call notice that asks for "males and females, all ages and types," so there’s no clues to be found there. Actors have to get their demo reels in by August 30th, so I guess we can expect some casting announcements around then — or probably earlier.

The IMDb indicates that Ken Watanabe and Brian Cox are "rumored" to be on board, so there’s two roles you can maybe scratch off the list.
