Once it’s been established who’s actually playing the martini-loving Agent 007, the three biggest questions surrounding any Bond film are — in no particular order — what car he’s going to drive, which cool new gadgets he’ll get to use, and who the new “Bond girl” will be. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the last of those questions has been answered for the forthcoming Bond 22.

Though the question of whether or not she’s to be the film’s main Bond girl is apparently still open for debate, the Reporter claims that Gemma Arterton has signed on for the part of “Fields” — described as “a nice-sized role” — in Bond 22. The article refers to Arterton as a “British newcomer,” and that’s pretty accurate — her largest credit to date has been a role in St. Trinian’s, described as a film “about the madcap adventures of a group of unruly girls at a boarding school.”
