This year’s Comic-Con is the last where Transformers movie news can possibly be revealed, as the film releases next year on July 4th. As such, plenty of aspects of the film are being hinted at while the main, big secrets of the film remain under lock and key. … Perhaps the most interesting tidbit gleaned from the panel is the fact that Peter Cullen is seriously being considered by the filmmakers for the voice of Optimus Prime. Cullen played the voice of Prime, and several other Transformers, in both the animated series and Transformers: The Movie. Fan support for Cullen as Prime has blossomed on Internet message boards, and according to members of the panel, Michael Bay and company are looking into using Cullen as a result.
