Comic-Con 2006: Marvel Announces Three Big Hero Flicks - "Captain America," "Thor," and "Nick Fury"

Marvel’s already well underway on pre-production with "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man," and "Ant-Man," and they used San Diego Comic-Con as the time to announce their next three hero-flicks. (And they’re all members of The Avengers!)

Courtesy of the non-stop mega-coverage at IGN FilmForce: "The first new movie announced at the panel was "Captain America," which has already seen one film adaptation. After that, Marvel Studios announced plans to make a "Nick Fury" movie. Andrew Marlowe is set to pen the tale of the cigar-chomping leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. The third project announced is "Thor," based on the Nordic Avenger."

Heck, I just saw all three of these superheroes last night … in the same movie!
