Clooney & Coens to Reunite for "Hail Caesar"

Apparently the latest issue of Vogue Magazine is being credited with the scoop, but fansite CoenBrothers.net broke the news about two months ago: George Clooney plans to reunite with Joel & Ethan Coen on the period comedy "Hail Caesar," which "will follow a troupe of theater actors in the 1920’s putting on a play about ancient Rome."

Mr. Clooney says this flick will complete his "idiot trilogy" with the Coens, following their collaborations on "O Brother Where Art Thou?" and "Intolerable Cruelty."

Production on "Hail Caesar" has not begun just yet, because Clooney’s a busy guy, but it’s nice to know he’ll always make time for the Coen boys. (And after films like "Fargo," "Miller’s Crossing," and "The Man Who Wasn’t There," it’s only a foolish actor who wouldn’t want to work with the Coens.)
