The Associated Foreign Press brings word that Chow Yun-Fat ("A Better Tomorrow") has been approached by the producer and director to play the famous 15th century Chinese pirate Cheung Po Tsai for the next two sequels to "Pirates of the Caribbean." The original movie followed the adventures of a disgraced pirate, played by Johnny Depp, as he tried to get back his stolen ship with the help of two landlubbers, played by Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. The Rolling Stone’s guitarist Keith Richards will reportedly play Depp’s character’s father in the followup. The movie is shooting for a 2006 release.
