Comingsoon.net brings word that Alex Norton has joined the cast of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequels. According to their source, Norton will play Edinburgh sea captain Sam Bellamy. "I start filming in Los Angeles next month," he says, "…then head out to the Caribbean island of St Vincent in June and July." Norton’s credits include "Beautiful Creatures," "Little Voice," and "The Count of Monte Cristo." "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley and is scheduled for a July 7, 2006 release.
