Production Weekly informs us that screenwriter Gregory Poirier ("Rosewood," "See Spot Run") has finished work on his remake of Disney’s family classic "Swiss Family Robinson." Although a director has not yet been announced, production is set to begin this September in Queensland. Word is that this remake will take place in the early-19th century, as did the 1960 original (not to mention the original novel by Johann David Wyss.)
