Game of Thrones episode “The Spoils of War,” which aired Sunday night, began with touching reunions and ended in fire and blood — and the possible death of one principal character.

Spoiler warning: Stop here if you haven’t watched season 7, episode 4 of Game of Thrones

After a week of leaks and spoiler ambushes on social media, the masses finally got to see season 7’s fourth episode. It started with an unusual scene between Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) and Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright), but “The Spoils of War” shot into many fans’ “best GoT episodes ever” lists by its end.

When Arya (Maisie Williams) hit the gate of Winterfell, there was a nice echo of young Arya, the cat chaser, at the gate of King’s Landing from season 1 trying to talk her way past the guards there too.

This time, Arya slipped away and disappeared, but Sansa (Sophie Turner) knew her little sister visited  their father in the family crypt. Tears!

Sansa tells Arya that Jon (Kit Harington) is going to be stoked to see her.

Jon wants to show Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) the dragonglass, then “There is something else I want to show you [in bed], your grace.” OK, it’s just some ancient cave carvings (like France’s Chauvet Cave).

The gang’s all there when they exit the cave, including Hand of the Queen Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), who has some bad news. Fed up with the failures of Tyrion’s ideas, she turns to Jon: Advise me now, future nephew-husband!
