The Best Horror Movies of 2020, Ranked by Tomatometer

The 2010s may go down in history for its revitalization of horror, but it’s a new decade and 2020 has come out fighting, slashing, and chomping. Virtually every week has seen a new scary movie, so we’re starting earlier than usual in the year with our ranking of the Best Horror Movies of 2020 (and the worst) by Tomatometer!

New horror movie highlights of the early year include the newly minted Universal Monster movie The Invisible Man, Elijah Wood’s wily Come to Daddy, and Nicolas Cage in Color Out of Space, a decent H.P. Lovecraft adaptation for a change.

2020 horror movies coming up in the year are A24’s Saint Maud, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, a new Purge, and Halloween Kills. We’ll be updating this guide as these and every other genre effort releases, so take a look and check back with the Best Horror Movies of 2020 by Tomatometer!
