48 Dueling Movies: Same Premise, Same Year, Different Movies

Bet you didn’t think going into 2018 you’d be lucky enough to get even one movie about garden gnomes. But not only is Sherlock Gnomes releasing this Friday, be on the lookout this year for the unrelated Gnome Alone (in 3D!) (from the director of The Nut Job!). Two movies coming out in the same year with the same premise or concept isn’t such a radical thing. In fact, there’s a name for it: dueling movies, and for this week’s gallery we’re listing 24 movies and their competitive doppelgangers with Tomatometer scores.
