Win Copies of Lars von Trier's Antichrist

We're giving away Lars von Trier's arthouse horror tour de force on DVD

by | January 27, 2010 | Comments

“Chaos… reigns,” quoth that other talking movie fox in Antichrist, and he was pretty close to the mark. With graphic violence, mutilation and — scariest of all — a terrifying atmosphere of dread, Lars von Trier’s latest was both an unforgettable descent into art horror and a seriously controversial work. (Is there any other kind for the Danish director?) The film stars Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg as a grieving couple who retreat to the woods after the death of their son, where they soon find themselves at the mercy of an evil force… which may even be the woman herself.

Now you and your family can share in the therapeutic fun as Rotten Tomatoes and Paramount are giving away five copies of Antichrist on DVD.

To win, just tell us in 25 words or less which is your favourite Lars von Trier film, and why. Send your answers, along with your mailing address, to: Antichrist Giveaway.

Entries close Friday, February 5. Winners will be notified by mail. Please note that the contest is open to Australian residents only.

Antichrist is released on DVD in Australia on February 4.
