Last week, it was announced that Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson was stepping away from the sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, due to that age-old complication known as “creative differences.” It had previously been reported that the new film would be darker and hew closer to elements of horror, which would have suited Derrickson, whose previous films included The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Sinister. But now that he’s gone, someone has to fill those shoes.

Many of our fans on social media offered up suggestions for replacement directors, so we took those into consideration, then added a few names we thought might align with what we’ve been told about Multiverse, to come up with a list of potential choices. Vote on the poll below and let us know who you think would be the best choice to direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
