Video: Nichelle Nichols Wanted to Leave Star Trek for Broadway

This week on Rotten Tomatoes See It/Skip It, hosts Jacqueline Cole and Segun Oduolowu got a surprise visit from a very special guest: original Star Trek cast member Nichelle Nichols! Nichols’ groundbreaking role as the USS Enterprise’s Lieutenant Uhura was an inspiration to both Jacqueline and Segun, and they could hardly contain their excitement when she walked through the door. In this extended interview, Nichols talks about Star Trek‘s passionate fans, why she almost quit the show, and her love for her co-stars.
