Video: Fall TV Cancellation Countdown for Nov. 25, 2015

by and | November 25, 2015 | Comments

This week, we’re checking out the fall premieres that have already been cancelled. So, as you get ready to carve the turkey, check out how Wicked City, Truth Be Told, Blood & Oil, The Bastard Executioner, Minority Report and The Player all wound up on the chopping block!

Stay up to date on what’s on (and off) the air with our Fall TV coverage!

  • Plucky Duck

Minority report is a great show

  • Pepper Williams

Megan Good was the only reason I watched Minority Report. She’s smoking HOT!!! And, I actually liked “The Player”. Too bad that got the axe. Oh well, Wesley…….back to making another “Blade”.

  • Kimj247

Megan Good should NOT have been cast as the main character in Minority Report. Although her acting skills get better with each show, she’s more believable as a romantic soap opera star then a tough Big City cop trying to stop murders and thwart thugs with convincing fighting skills.

I could not get past the Tom Cruz character being replaced with a sexy woman wearing a skin tight uniform walking like she’s on a catwalk trying to portray herself as “Bad-Ass”! It’s laughable! Even my husband who Loves eye candy as much as other guys hated her as the bad-ass.

I’m really bummed they screwed this up so bad because it really could be something special.

It should have been given to Frank Spotnitz with a decent budget! It would have been something great running for years….oh, what COULD have been!

Yep, Hollywood’s desire to replace male action heroes with females is ridiculous and constantly backfires. They desperately desire to make them appealing and cast good-looking women acting butch and it doesn’t work. We want to see the male co-stars take the lead, Sleepy Hollow is a good example of them dumbing down and emasculating the male leads and having the female lead butch out but it’s counter-productive.

  • Hep

Wicked City was just plain disgusting. I had to take a shower after I watched the premiere.

  • Patric McLeod

Minority Report, as a show, is interesting, and should have been given time to find its audience.

  • Wayne Turner

Minority Report had two major problems – Replacing the movies male lead, with a female lead for the TV series. It came across as gimmicky and against the movie it was based on. The other: Compared to Person Of Interest (POI). Similar idea, but POI established successful and superior show.

  • Wayne Turner

I liked The Player. But,the few problems I had with it were: The gimmicky near cameo of Wesley Snipes in each episode. His acting and character seemed more like Wooden Snipes. I liked the action scenes of the show, but it took it self too seriously often. It lacked the wit and cleverness of a show I loved; Burn Notice.

  • Dan Parkhurst

The video editing on this feature is terrible.
