Trailer Bulletin: Ghost Rider

The flick’s peen pushed back more times than Ralph Malph on prom night, but that doesn’t stop Sony from banging out these "Ghost Rider" trailers. Hey, the flick’s only 9 months from release, so now’s a perfect time for this all-new trailer.

"A motorcycle stuntman, Johnny Blaze, makes a pact with a dark force, selling his soul to save his girlfriend. When the bargain goes sour and the girl isn’t saved, Blaze is transformed, gaining raging superpowers."

"Ghost Rider" comes from the director of "Daredevil" (which is bad) and the writer of "Batman Begins" (which is good), and it stars Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes, Sam Elliott, and Peter Fonda.

Wake me when it’s February 16th and I’ll consider giving the flick a spin.

MatterMusic.com has an exclusive look at the all-new trailer for the Nicolas Cage superhero flick "Ghost Rider," which (of course) is based on the Marvel Comic of the same name.

The story of an undead bounty hunter on hell’s payroll who is man by day and fiery skull-face by night, "Ghost Rider" was written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson, the filmmaker who had some superheroic experience working on "Daredevil."

Scheduled for release in August of next year, "Ghost Rider" also stars Eva Mendes, Sam Elliott, Wes Bentley, Peter Fonda, and Donal Logue.

(Unfortunately and somewhat annoyingly, one cannot watch the trailer without upgrading to Quicktime 7, which you can download right here. The upgrade takes a few extra minutes, but worked just fine for me … and this trailer just might be worth the effort (because it’s kinda hilarious.))
