You know how "Spider-Man 3" is opening in the U.S. on May 4th? Well, get ready to get jealous: Japan is getting it three days earlier than that!

The Japanese movie geeks must be pretty damn psyched about this news: Sam Raimi’s "Spider-Man 3" will have its world premiere at Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo on April 16th, and then the flick will open for the public on May 1st.

Attending the premiere will be Raimi, Stan Lee, Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco. Sounds like a fun party.

Oh, and I hope you caught that 7-minute "SM3" clip on NBC.com yesterday … because it’s gone now!
