Teaser Buzz for "The Dark Knight"?

by | May 16, 2007 | Comments

As if you needed another reason to go see "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," now comes a rumor that a teaser trailer for "The Dark Knight" will be attached to the print.

According to anonymous scoopers, the "Dark Knight" teaser goes like this: playing cards dropping on to a black background, Joker’s voice, and then the final card dropped is (of course) a joker with a smoldering Batman logo on it. (This just in: The Joker will be played by Heath Ledger! Woohoo! Massive scoop for Rotten Tomatoes!!)

Other bat-buzz: Apparently the flick will NOT be a "Joker origin story," and (as reported earlier) it looks like Cillian Murphy MIGHT be returning for Part 2. Which would be cool.

Apparently Warner Bros. denies all of it. (The stuff about the teaser trailer, I mean.) Easy way to tell if this scoop is accurate? Go see "Harry Potter 5" and get there in time for the trailers.
