Stellan Skarsgard has joined Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequels, according to Comingsoon.net. Their source, the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, says the actor will begin work in February and will finish by December. As for what role he’ll be playing, Skarsgard is quoted saying, "I’m playing the old pirate ‘Bootstraps’ Turner… it should be fun, I enjoyed the first one." ‘Bootstraps’ Turner is Orlando Bloom’s character’s father in the first movie. "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" made $305M in its domestic run and is based on a theme park ride.
