It looks like Sylvester Stallone will be reprising one of his most seminal characters, John Rambo, in a fourth "Rambo" film. According to Production Weekly (via Comingsoon.net), Sly will direct and star in "Rambo IV: In the Serpent’s Eye," based upon his own script.
The film, tentatively scheduled for shooting in January, will tell the story of a group of missionaries doing aid work in Burma who enlist Rambo to defend them against pirates. After some of the aid workers are kidnapped, Rambo assembles a ragtag team of fighters to rescue them. This would be the first "Rambo" picture since 1988’s "Rambo III." Stallone will also star in "Rocky Balboa," which will be in theaters Dec. 22.
