Screenwriter Tim Sullivan ("Jack and Sarah") is only the most recent scribe to earn a gig at Shrek’s swamp, as producers took a liking to his "Shrek 4" pitch and offered him the job. Just a week ago scripter David H. Steinberg ("Slackers") landed the job of writing the "Puss in Boots" spin-off semi-sequel. Meanwhile, "Shrek 3" (as written by Peter Seaman & Jeffrey Price, the team behind "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Wild Wild West," and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit") is just about to begin pre-production, and is shooting for a May 2007 release.
