Fresh off an Independent Spirit Award nomination for his supporting work in "Kinsey," Peter Sarsgaard is set to join the Sam Mendes-helmed "Jarhead," an adaptation of Anthony Swofford’s Gulf War memoir, Variety reports. Sarsgaard joins Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Foxx in the film, which is being produced for Universal. Sarsgaard has been busy; he recently completed work on "Skeleton Key" alongside Kate Hudson, and he will appear with Jodie Foster in "Flight Plan," as well as "The Dying Gaul," directed by Craig Lucas.
