Speaking with Sci Fi Wire, Sam Raimi says he’s currently in the process of writing the screenplay for "Spider-Man 3" with his brother Ivan: "We’ve finished a 50-page document and now I’m working with my storyboard artist to work out some of the visuals." As to the villain of the story, he says "I actually haven’t figured it out just yet… I’m still not quite there in determining the villain." "Spider-Man" and "Spider-Man 2" are two of the highest grossing films at the US box office at $403M and $373M, respectively. The third film is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2007.
