Remake Buzz: "Supergirl" and "Teen Wolf"??

Got a pair of news bites regarding two potential remakes: One would mark the return of Kal-El’s cousin and the other would be … a remake of "Teen Wolf"? Really?

According to Dark Horizons, a "Teen Wolf" remake might be getting underway up in Canada. Apparently "Smallville" resident Tom Welling is up for the lead role.

And according to JoBlo, it looks like a brand-new "Supergirl" movie might be in the offing. Rumor indicates that Tricia Helfer from "Battlestar Galactica" might be in line for the lead role.

Take both items with a grain of salt, obviously, but they’re interesting enough to mention, I suppose. (And for the record, the last "Supergirl" was played by Helen Slater and the "Teen Wolf" was played by Michael J. Fox.)
