Television characters have historically been fashion trendsetters, inspiring clothing and hair choices that swept the nation. From the big shoulders of Dynasty and the Rachel, to Blair Waldorf’s impeccable Upper East Side style to Olivia Pope’s beautiful Beltway brand and Carrie Bradshaw’s bold (frequently eccentric) choices, style icons can be found all over the television landscape.
But in celebration of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt returning for its third season, Rotten Tomatoes also wants to celebrate some TV fashion don’ts by looking back at 20 of the worst dressed TV characters from the past 20 years.
