If you’re looking for something to rent this week, there’s a decent variety of choices to pick from, even if the best choices are the smaller films. Regardless, if you were waiting for the elderly heist movie starring Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, the tech thriller starring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson, or the latest HBO series, you’re in luck. Big Little Lies: Season 1 (2017) 93%

Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Shailene Woodley star in this HBO drama centering on three mothers living in a Monterrey community where a shocking murder takes place. The season 1 set comes with “Inside the Episode” segments for six episodes, cast interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.

Godzilla Resurgence (Shin Godzilla) (2016) 86%

This modern update on the iconic cinematic lizard takes the legend back to its roots, as a giant monster rises up from the depths of the ocean to wreak havoc on Tokyo. It comes with a piece titled “Godzilla vs. the Nerds,” as well as trailers and both an English audio track and a Japanese one with subtitles.

Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis star in this comedy about a hard-partying woman who moves back to her hometown and discovers she is mysteriously linked to a giant monster destroying Seoul, Korea. It comes with one deleted scene.

Based on a widely reported phenomenon in 1997, this sci-fi thriller follows a trio of teens who set out to find the source of mysterious lights that appear over Phoenix one night.

The Circle (2017) 16%

Tom Hanks and Emma Watson star in this thriller about a young woman who takes a new job at a powerful tech company and becomes involved in a dangerous social experiment. Extras include making-of featurettes, a look at the production design, and a tribute to Bill Paxton, who died just before the film’s release.
