New Line Cinema has purchased Jake Wade Wall’s screenplay for "Amusement," according to Variety. The horror flick will focus on "a traumatized woman who’s questioned by a cop and a psychiatrist about three stories — involving a clown, a hotel and a convoy — that involve her and two of her female friends from childhood." Also on deck from Mr. Wall is Screen Gems’ remake of "When a Stranger Calls."
