XMenFilms.net brings news that up & coming thespian Eric Dane has been cast as Multiple Man in Brett Ratner’s upcoming "X-Men 3."

According to the site, which certainly seems to take its X-news quite seriously, Multiple Man has "the ability to create duplicates of himself at will through an unknown process whenever he is struck, or even when he snaps his fingers or stamps his foot. Each of the duplicates is completely capable of independent thought and can create duplicates of himself."

For his part, the young Mr. Dane has appeared in several episodes of "Charmed," plus he’s also starring in the upcoming Project Greenlight horror flick "Feast."

X-fans who are salivating for any sort of Part 3 news should immediately bookmark XMenFilms.net and visit fairly often. For example, you can take a look at several on-set pics right here, and we bet they’ll have a lot more mutant action in that gallery before too long.

Thanks also to JoBlo.com for introducing us to the x-tremely x-centric website.
