Variety reports that Michael Douglas has signed on to play an unhappy papa in Joe and Anthony Russo‘s comedy "You, Me and Dupree."
"Douglas joins Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson and Matt Dillon in a comedy about a newlywed couple that allows the groom’s best man to stay with them after the wedding, only to quickly regret it. Douglas will play the over-the-top, controlling father of the bride."
"Dupree" is a Universal Pictures project, from a screenplay by Mike LeSieur wrote the script. Sibling directors Joe & Anthony Russo ("Welcome to Collinwood") are on the job.
