After making his directorial debut with a rather auspicious effort ("Maria Full of Grace"), writer/director Joshua Marston will earn his second shot courtesy of Warner Independent Pictures. Marston will write and direct "The Iraqi Convoy Project" (that’s a temporary title), which, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is about "American truckers who have made a one-year commitment to drive goods for U.S. contractors through the Iraqi war zone because of financial hardships back home."Although based on actual events, Marston plans to blend fictional elements as well, hopefully "creating a character-driven film within a bigger social context."
