by | July 5, 2005 | Comments

Variety reports that Lions Gate Films has purchased North American distribution rights to "Highlander: The Journey Continues" — and also that production house Davis Panzer has set its sights on two additional "Highlander" sequels.

"The Journey Continues" will star TV Highlander Adrian Paul and will be directed by Brett Leonard ("The Lawnmower Man," "Man-Thing").

No word yet on how close to completion this fourth "Highlander" sequel is, but the IMDb credits the flick withmore than six screenwriters … so at least we know some people are hard at work on the project.
