According to Production Weekly, everyone’s favorite English butt-kicker, Jason Statham, has signed on to star in "Rogue," in which he’ll be the angry good guy to Jet Li‘s merciless villain.
"Jason Statham will topline the action thriller "Rogue," (which) co-stars Jet Li in the title role. Hip-hop video director Philip Atwell will make his feature helming debut. Corey Yuen, who directed Statham in "The Transporter," is choreographing and directing the action scenes. The storyline centers on Jack Crawford (Statham), who, when his partner Tom Lone and Lone’s family are killed by an assassin for the Chang crime family, becomes obsessed with finding the elusive and brutal killer, Rogue (Li). Production is scheduled to begin in March on location in Vancouver."
