Does it still count as a rumor if you only read about it AFTER the rumor has been proven false? I mean, I just read an article stating that Jamie Foxx will NOT be playing Harvey Dent (aka Two-Face) in Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming "Batman Begins" sequel … but I never knew he was even up for the part!
A few days back the widely-accepted conjecture was that Aaron Eckhart was the Harvey Dent front-runner, but IGN Movies has just chimed in with the Jamie Foxx story. Apparently Mr. Foxx was rumored to be in contention, but that’s not even remotely the case anymore. "No truth to it whatsoever" says Mr. Foxx’s publicist. So I guess we can open and close that story in one swoop.
In related news, neither Barbra Streisand nor Fred Savage will be appearing in "The Dark Knight." I don’t know this for a fact, but it seems a safe enough bet.
