In Other News...A Melrose Baby, Jennifer Aniston, and Star Wars Barf Bags

Former Melrose Place co-stars, Doug Savant and Laura Leighton — or, as you may remember them, openly gay Matt and tarty prostitute Sydney — have welcomed new baby Lucy into the family. The couple, who already have a 4-year old son, met on the seminal 90210 spin-off soap and married in 1998. Savant, whose film career is far eclipsed by his television work, is set to resume his role this fall as a househusband on the hit series Desperate Housewives, while new mommy Leighton’s own show, Eyes, was recently cancelled.

Although the gossip has been circling for months, Jennifer Aniston confirms the reason for her celebrity break-up in an upcoming interview for Vanity Fair: infidelity. According to Page Six, the Along Came Polly star divulges that her marriage to Brad Pitt suffered due to his cheating, not her rumored reluctance to have children. Pitt, who has found himself in the middle of a gossip-storm with Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star and supposed other woman, Angelina Jolie, has of late refused press questions regarding an off-screen romance, leaving Aniston the only party willing to shed light on the painfully private matter.

And finally, airline passengers who like to mix humor with displeasure will be happy to find special-edition Star Wars barf bags onboard their next flight. Virgin Airlines, owned by eccentric billionaire playboy Richard Branson, will be carrying the limited-edition airsickness receptacles in conjunction with LucasArts’ Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith video game; choose from four designs, including a "Know Your Lightsaber" weapon guide, a "Lightsaber Etiquette" how-to instructional, "The Art of Jedi Combat" — with pictures — and an airplane seating chart for Jedi and Sith.
