Paul Giamatti will join Edward Norton in "The Illusionist," with Neil Burger directing, Variety reports. The movie is based on Steven Millhauser’s short story called "Eisenheim the Illusionist" and is about a magician who falls in love with woman who is engaged to a price. He uses his powers to win her heart, but undermines the stability of the royal house of Vienna in the process. Giamatti’s Oscar-nominated "Sideways" is currently playing in theaters.
