We all wondered when Mr. Lucas would figure out a way to re-release his "Star Wars" movies yet AGAIN, and here’s how he plans to do it: in 3-D!! Yep, George and a healthy handful of flashy filmmakers (James Cameron, Robert Zemeckis, Robert Rodriguez, Peter Jackson…and Randal "Grease" Kleiser??) recently announced at Showest that they’re all sort of committed to 3-D filmmaking. Of the directors on board, only one of them currently has a 3-D project near completion (Robert Rodriguez’ "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl") but it only stands to reason that someday soon we’ll be treated to three-dimensional light sabers, water tentacles, time-traveling DeLoreans, spy kids, Ents…and John Travolta’s hips.
